The use of indigenous people in the past include the use of the Funafuti indigenous land owners in respect to their lands that need for the location and establishment of the Vaitupu Island Community Hall on Funafuti. As the Vaitupu Island People do not have lands on Funafuti, they will have to approach landowners of Funafuti to give them landspots for the establishment of their community hall. In knowing that the hall was accepted by landowners of Funafuti, the Vaitupu Women Association on Funafuti are confident that the same indigenous group could make available some spots for the location of rubbish bins' stand in which is a requirement of the project.

The way the project will capture its activities and performances is through the project coordinator and members of the board whereby they will take camera shots of those activities. They will then submit those captures in a reporting format that will inform the Tuvalu NSC about their performances.

There is no specific plan of the project to produce policy impact. However, the project seeks to engage women of the Vaitupu Island community on Funafuti to keep their community hall's surrounding clean. It is therefor important to keep in mind the importance of members of the association with its key role on keeping the hall's surrounding neat and clean.

There is not much capacity building needed by the grantees apart from the training done by the Solid Waste Agency of Tuvalu to the women in relation to the management of waste and the types of disposal involved in this project. This is the only training needed by the grantee.

Women main role in the community was to keep and store communal food in refrigerator and cooking of food, as well as setting up the tables for communal meals within the vicinity of the Vaitupu Island Community's Hall. In this respect, women are responsible for the preparing and cleaning of eating utensils, folding of mats, and sweeping of the hall's floor after each communal event at the Hall. As with most island communities here in Tuvalu, women have that kind of role, and men are much more into the making of decisions, And this is culturally acceptable.

Women of Vaitupu on Funafuti do consist of old and young women of the island community. Thus the involvement of young women is confirmed within the vicinity of the project itself. There is an indefinite number of young women involved in the project
