- The project was implemented in 4 villages namely: Ngain Sanjal, Dibba kunda, Sara kunda and Daffa, all located in Sabach Sanjal Dstrict of the the North Bank Region. These villages are all all farming communities that are adversely environmental problems such as Land degradation.

- 2 tree nursery sites were established for seedling propagation. A total of 4, 000 seedlings of different tree species were propagated by the 4 different women groups involved in project implementation.The trees raised will be used for reaforestation purposes in the target communities and will aim to combat land degradation challenges faced by the communities.It is estimated that a total of 150 hectares of farmlands were restored and protected from being degraded by the project.

- A stakeholder sensitization an agroforestry capacity building training was conducted for 60 women beneficiaries drawn from the 4 project beneficiary villages.

- As part of the sustainable livelihood improvement component of the project, a credit scheme was initiated targeting 4 women groups, numbering 60 women in total, were selected for the revolving loan credit programme.Prior to the disbursement of the credit, the group received training on business start up in petty trading, soap making and food processing. Upon completion of the training, a total of D90, 000 was given to the 4 groups as seed monies. Upon completion of the activities being financed, each individual of group would repay the loan with a small interest for award to others.
