The overall project goal is aimed at promoting biodiversity conservation for protecting and enhancing the environment in Jokadou district and surrounding areas in order to promote food security, enhance sustainable livelihoods and promote sustainable development for the local communities.

The immediate goal seeks to contribute in combating global warming by implementing community-led initiatives that include tree propagation and distribution among stakeholders for planting on the landscapes to reverse the degradation of the forest cover.
