The project "Creation of technological, social, educational tools for the purpose of Ecological restoration, based on the consolidation of intersectoral participation of stakeholders: local and civil society, public authorities, youth, etc." (Pilot project) started on February 1, 2021 and was completed on January 31, 2022.
Each participant of the Project, as well as all interested persons, can get acquainted in detail with the activities and achieved results of the Project. The GREEN HOME Eco Portal was developed, which reflects all the materials, events, developments, and results of the project in order to ensure wide visibility of the project results and its scalability to other regions, and this portal will subsequently be supported by the organization for the development of the volunteer movement and the promotion of sustainable goals in the field of ecology.
Monitoring tools that were used in the project: registration lists of events, completed questionnaires of participants, photos of the event, a developed program of the event taking into account the time for each presentation, expert reports, publications on the project website.
PROJECT ACTIVITIES:
-To strengthen the infrastructural ecological and tourist potential of the Taraclia district, a scientific arboretum Park was created on the territory of the Monastery in Taraclia.
-The Eco-Movement GREEN HOME was created in Partnership with local authorities, local ONG, which included representatives from 9 territorial units of the Taraclia district
-PR campaign of the Volunteer Movement in online and offline format.
-Round table "Ecology and sustainable development of Tarakli district".
-Workshop "Development Of The GREENHOME Volunteer Movement Program"
-A working meeting of the volunteer movement, a visit to a network of springs in the village of Roshitsa com. Albota de Sus - GreenHome Action in the com. Albota de Sus.
-Visit to exchange experience with civil activists of Novoselovka village of Taraclia district,
-A visit to exchange experience with civil activists in the village of Valya-Perzhey to familiarize with the practice of collecting household waste.
-An educational and Technological mini greenhouse has been created for the cultivation and breeding of valuable tree species adapted to local climate conditions using green technologies.
-Planting 3.5 hectares of forest in Tvarditsa.
The institutional long-term viability of the project will be ensured through synergetic cooperation with existing structures, volunteer groups and local Partners of the Project. The created Eco Portal will create the effect of strong and effective sustainability by providing information exchange, green technologies, coverage of 17 settlements on coordination and environmental management issues.
The long-term sustainability of the project at the policy level will be ensured by the planned scaling of the Educational and Technological greenhouse to all schools of the Taraclia district, the South region and other regions of the Republic of Moldova. In particular, experts and Volunteers will develop a Program on the environment based on the conducted Environmental Research, which will be reflected in the Development Strategy of the Tarakli district and other regulatory legal acts. In particular, the GREEN HOME Volunteer Movement is supposed to be scaled to the districts of Cahul, Kantemir and Chadyr-Lunga.
Financial sustainability will be ensured through participation in national and European grant programs, by attracting financial resources from partners ? local and district authorities, receiving sponsorship from private companies, embassies and individuals for the further implementation of the Project. As one of the main tools to ensure the financial sustainability of the Project, the Guvern24 crowdfunding platform will be used to raise funds to finance projects in the field of ecology and the environment.
The most important and main conclusion that was drawn during the implementation of the project is the connection with the community, because the project team sees and identifies one environmental problem at its level, when communicating with completely different representatives of social strata, there are much more problems, and their causes are much deeper. At this stage, when interacting with the population, it was possible to identify various environmental problems at the local level. In subsequent events, the approach will be changed, which will allow us to find ideas for new initiatives together with local authorities.
