Tackling Climate change effects through the usage of Energy Efficient (Eco-Stoves) Stoves around Lake Piso Basin
for a project, being Capacity development.The overall essence of this project is to produce four thousand (4,000) Eco stoves within four (4) years. Within this eleven (8) months period, LYAED will produce One thousand (1,000) Eco stoves and disseminate rapid awareness messages to community dwellers about the use of the Eco stoves. LYAED anticipate continuing the production of Eco stoves and awareness within various communities within the period of three (3) years. At the end of the Eight Months of implementation, Biodiversity will be protected ant threats of climate Change effects reduced as trees and more forest will not be destroy as a result of the awareness given which will emphasize deeply on the danger associated with destroying the forest..

An in-depth consultation has already taken place, with discussions beginning in 2020 with community and stakeholders representative. This proposal has evolved as a direct result of that consultation process and a pre-project development visit which was undertaken from September by the project team
