for a project, being Capacity developmentThe overall essence of this project is to emphasize on the reduction of plastic waste and the beneficial management of plastic waste. This also includes Alternative measures for the recycling of the synthetic polymers and efficient transformation of plastic waste into energy and diesel fuel.To bridge the gaps in waste plastic value chain and improve environmental sanitation and public health through recycling and providing clean carbon fuel and affordable resilient Job opportunity for over 200 unemployed youth, increase the capacity for low-income and resilient housing and reduce the amount of CO2 emitted into the environment by 11.315 tons annually and reduced amount of unutilized waste in the environment by 13,240 tons of waste plastic annually (60% of all 22,000 tones) plastic generated across the entire Greater Monrovia.

Notable Community Participation
An in-depth consultation has already taken place, with discussions beginning in 2020 with community and stakeholders representative. This proposal has evolved as a direct result of that consultation process and a pre-project development visit which was undertaken from September by the project team
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Knowledge transfer and capacity building based on personal involvement of local people are at the heart of this project and hence dissemination is an integral aspect of what is planned.
