The following objectives have been achieved;
Enhancing the biodiversity in the marginalized areas through planting 25000 m2 of aromatic and implementing smart agricultural model to enhance the climate.
Its expected that the 25 females will produce 200 kg of Thyme 50 Kg of sage and 20 kg of other herbal products but for the second year the product will be tripled .
Improving the socio economic situation for 25 women through providing 25 job opportunities for the women as farmers.
Project outputs
25000 m2 owned by 25 females were cultivated with 60000 of aromatic plants.
Solar dryer with a capacity of 10 tons and packaging machine was installed.
The capacity of 25 females were increased through conducting 3workshops on the importance of environmental preservation and preserving the indigenous plants in the rural areas, conducting 5 days 40 hours on the economic empowerment and project management, conducting 5 days 40 training hours on gender inclusion , and conducting 2 days 16 hours on financial and administrative inclusion.
