Piloting Bonicum as a green fodder in Gaza Strip
The project aims to protect the environment from desertification, salinity of irrigation water, cultivate fallow sandy lands with planting Bonicum plants through establishing a greenhouse to grow Bonicam seeds with an area of 500 m, establishing a unit for manufacturing alternative fodder from agricultural organic waste for plant crops and palms with an area of 125 m, conducting 2 training courses on methods of cultivation, production, and marketing of Bonicom as green fodder with high nutritional value for sheep and cattle to develop the capabilities and skills of 40 technical, administrative, and financial entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the cultivation, production, and marketing of Bonicum and producing joint video with other GEF/SGP grantees to be supervised by the National Coordinator.
