Strengthening resilience of livestock keepers in the marginalized areas of Masafer Bani Naim
The project aims to enhance the resilience of livestock keepers and their families in marginalized areas to the challenges and obstacles facing their livelihoods by establishing small watersheds by building stone wall (contour lines) on an area of 150 dunums (dunum = 1000m2), Constructing 10 * 60 cubic meter storage for rainwater harvesting, cultivating 1000 pastoral seedlings of Acacia, Nuts and Aloe vera species, conducting training (18 hours * 20 participants) on food security for livestock keepers by preserving the environment, managing natural resources, and increasing vegetation cover and producing joint video with other GEF/SGP grantees to be supervised by the National Coordinator.
