The project objectives were achieved;
Improving the resilience of herding families in the marginalized areas of Masafer Bani Naim by establishing 10 rainwater wells Cultivating pastoral seedlings using soil and water conservation techniques and community-based natural resource management and preserving the lands for two years increasing the availability of high-yield drought resistant grazing land and reducing soil erosion to increase the green cover and allow endangered plants to raise.
Improving the socio economic situation of 145 people through reducing the costs of buying water tanks and significant amount of purchased fodder.
Increasing the productivity of herders lands and livestock through conducting awareness training on managing the natural resources .
The project outputs
Small watersheds were established by building small and short stone barriers in the targeted lands.
10 wells were constructed for rainwater harvesting with 60 cube size.
Pastoral seedlings of Akasia Ratam Qattaf and Cactus species were distributed and cultivated in the targeted lands 1000 seedling.
Increased the herders capacity on food security for livestock keepers and managing the natural resources by conducting workshops 18 hours X 20 participants , workshop 3 hours X 20 participants on the importance of soil and water conservation and managing natural resources in the community for the ecosystem.
