The project will engage marginalized women and girls in the production of recyclable and environmentally friendly masks. The project will train 30 women in the production of masks as well as in running small business and will equip 10 of them with sewing machines. The intervention will be a self-sustaining action in this time of crisis by supporting livelihoods for women and their families and protecting the environment and will also consist in public events consisting in distribution and promoting safe use of masks in the Berat municipality in the south of Albania. The masks produced will follow the WHO guidelines consisting in a three-layer construction.
