About 1000 people participated in the project, out of which 53% were women, and 47% were men. Among the participants about 70% were adults in the age of 25 to 65, and about 30% were young students in the age of 13 to 17. In addition, representatives of public and civil society organizations in the age of 20 to 65 were involved.

Dissemination of information about the project results was carried out through various communication channels (the Internet, social networks, television, printed and online publications, radio, educational project activities and publications), in particular: ? Information on the project and its activities was disseminated and popularized through active project sections on websites the NGO and the CHREBR, and official Facebook page with more than 800 subscribers; ? 2 permanent volunteer groups, with 10 participants in each, were initiated; ? In order to raise public awareness on the biodiversity of the Chornobyl Reserve, more than 20 environmental and educational events, attended by over 600 people in total, were conducted; ? There were more than 20 references in the Internet space, more than 40 publications on the NGO official website and in social networks, related to the project; ? The GEF SGP best practices were disseminated through the development and distribution of visual content: promotional videos, teasers, information flyers, archive of photo and video materials and publications; ? An All-Ukrainian round table on the theme "Development of Birdwatching in Ukraine" was organized and conducted.

The socio-economic impact of the project not so much relates to infrastructure, but rather ? to the lack of education and the overall level of environmental culture. Therefore, the popularization of birdwatching and local tourism overall is a most challenging objective of the project. Birdwatching, as an element of nature reality, is gradually becoming a fashionable or even a social status hobby. Mass birdwatching would mean an increase in the number of people, who do care about wildlife. If we consider the economic impact of the project, it should be noted that the project promotes tourism development not only at local levels, but also at the national and international levels, and this will enable attracting additional investments and making profit from tourism activity in the future.
