Solid waste management is a challenging issue, this must be quickly controlled due to its relationship with multisector for involvement and impact on environment, health, social and living life. Based on solid waste record, Vientiane capital is producing the waste up to 600 tons/day of the generating rate 0.65 kg/day/person (GGGI,2018) and solid wastes will gradually increase more and more due to population growth and social development factor. Solid waste also causes air pollution, climate change and other following issue. Schools is a significant place to start up with integrated solid waste management as a model formed in Faculty of Engineering, National University of Laos, to implement the 5Rs principal instance of reduce, recycle, reuse, reject and repair. Hence, the project aims to strengthen the concept of integrated solid waste management for students at the school; promote and raise the awareness on integrated solid waste management; circulate solid waste for highest economic.
