Hongsa is one of the biggest districts of Xayaboury, the population is slightly increasing due to the immigration because it has coal plant, called Hongsa Power. There are many companies entering to invest on electricity generation. While citizen increasing, the waste is also rapidly increasing in communities too and it has directly affected to the local people health direct and indirect ways in consequence that is because of unclean water for consumption and air pollution, it is also the source of disease spread. To reduce this problem, it needed an accurate management to minimize the waste in landfill. The project aims are to manage the waste throughout the circular economy by involving teachers, students and people in community through this pilot project, waste can be recycled for agricultural production and material product as an eco-friendly. In addition, the innovation product from waste will be presented and demonstrated in the community after completed training, the plastic waste will be reused for nursery materials.
