The project is aiming at providing support to CPA committee members of 2 CPAs to ensure that a total of 775 hectares of forest land of the O'Choam CPA and Ta Tok-O'Krouch CPA have been used and managed sustainably to prepare for future REDD+ implementation by i) strengthening management capacity of O'Choam and Ta Tok-O'Krouch CPAs to implement activities listed in approved CPA management plan which will be approved in 2022, ii) Improve the living standards of 369 CPA members in O'Choam and Ta Tok-O Kroch (199 + 170 families) through providing support to poor farmers to practice agriculture technique, provide better eco-tourism services, diversified livelihood options and sustainable use of non-timber forest products. In order to achieve all these, this project will also establish pure water production station using small hydropower plant and solar system at O'Choam CPA that can produce 2,000 liters of pure water per day (250 liter/hour) and Ta Tok-O Krouch Community ecotourism will be strengthened by establishing a water supply system to serve tourism and community used. Moreover, a Community-owned small hydropower and solar systems for using at community center will also set up at Ta Tok-O Kroch CPA. Document lesson learnt and good practices is also part of this project.
