Strengthening Governance of Phnom Chumrok Sat Community Forestry through strengthening Community Ecotourism and Develop existing budget autonomous mechanisms
The project is aiming to provide support to Community Forestry committee members and villagers, especially indigenous peoples to increase their income and strengthening capacity to manage and conserve of 4,153 hectares of Community Forest areas of Phnom Chumroksat Community Forestry through strengthening of eco-tourism services and development existing autonomous budget management mechanisms for improving community livelihoods and forest eco-system which contribute to climate change mitigation. This project also supports CF committee members to wildly dissemination of eco-tourism marketing with strong collaborations with other stakeholders including private sectors and improved Community Forestry networks which will be recognized as model CF that lead to replicate by other Community Forestry. Document lesson learnt and good practices is also part of this project.
