The project will provide support Phnong IPs and communities in the project target areas, which are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic to i) ensure that more than 200 IPs/communities have better understanding and prevention them from COVID-19 pandemic by conducting a number of COVID-19 awareness raising activities and design and put CIVID-19 signboards in the target areas; ii) register 15 ha of IPs protected areas to get official recognition from Ministry of Tourist as Community Based Ecotourism, 150 cement poles will be produced and paced around 15 ha of IP protected areas and planting 1,000 small trees in the degraded areas; iii) improve livelihood of IPs community through supporting CBET committee and members to provide better ecotourism services by training them on hospitality skills, hygienic cooking methods and tour guide and provide two boats for transporting tourists. In addition to this, provide support to 20 families to raising fish and support 10 families on fish processing and packaging and link to market; and iv) document good practices and lesson leans from implementation is also part of this project.
