The project is aiming at Strengthen local communities and IPs capacity to lead self-development through sustainable natural resource management in order to improve livelihoods and response to COVID-19 pandemic in target areas in Thmear commune, chheysen district, Preahvihear and Anlongchhey, Anlongchery, commune, Thalaborivath district, Steung Treng provinces through i) enabling community members in both CPAs to have the ability to manage and sustainable use of 3,940 ha of forest resources in order to improve community livelihoods; ii) enable 80 community members to have better livelihood through implementation Climate Smart Agriculture and Agro-forestry, establishing cow bank and saving groups and bigging two community ponds to provide water to the two CPAs; iii) strengthening the two communities to develop market chains reconciliation of agricultural products by supporting existing Agriculture Cooperatives (AC) to develop business plan and to compile at least three purchases farming contracts. Moreover, project also raise awareness to all target communities and IPs on COVID-19 prevention and follow Ministry of Health prevention measure; and iv) document good practices and lesson leans from implementation is also part of this project?
