Vanghai village is in Xay district, Oudomxay province. Currently, the waste becomes an environmental - social issue in everywhere. As the social and economic rapidly grow in recent years with the consequence of waste generation. The waste collection service can't meet the need of waste collecting that increases in daily and the road access to the village area is also difficult. Thus, the waste overflows that will directly affect the human health and environment. More than 60% of waste in Vanghai village is left, uncollected and often crudely dump that lead to block the drainage, this will pollute and affect the health hazard. Therefore, the village authority would like to propose project to makeover village in Xay district, Oudomxay province becomes the waste management model through the community approach.
