This project will focus on using waste and natural products from rural environments to produce biofertilizers and inputs for organic agriculture. The project objectives are to: (i) build the awareness/ sensitivity and capacity of at least 20 rural community stakeholders to identify and valorise biodiversity using a bioeconomic/bio value system approach; (ii) develop and operationalize practical approaches for the sustainable utilization of biodiversity resources by at least 20 rural stakeholders in selected value systems; and (iii) build capacity for collaborative business management of rural stakeholders in the community.
