Nola Fishing Grounds Managed Sustainably Project

The Project will focus on Conservation of reefs as a fishing ground to sustain and manage it and at the same time, enhancing the capacity of local communities to protect it.
Also, will support in seawall construction and sanitation facilities for villagers of Nola Community


The Project components are:
? Climate Change vulnerability, impacts and adaptation solutions.
? Sustainable diversified and resilient livelihoods for local population in coastal zones
? Technology Transfer and the demonstration of adequate, cost-effective and resilient technologies for coastal zone adaptation
? Capacity development targeted to improve habitation design and land use planning in flooding areas

The expected outputs are:

? Strengthen and improving fishing grounds.

? Rehabilitation of damaged coral reefs which is a breeding site for fish and other marine lives.

? Enhancing food security

? Seawall to mitigate against sea-level rise.

? Construction of sanitation for a healthy community
