Promoting indigenous knowledge and capacity development for the ethnic minorities in community forest management and livelihood in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic in Ky Son district, Nghe An province.
The project is aimed to improving community forest management capacity, implementing livelihood models in the context of COVID-19 and climate changes, contributing to forest protection, biodiversity conservation and sustanable development for ethnic minority people in Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

The following activities will be implemented:
- Providing trainings on conserving peach trees, raising black chicken and cow, and community tourism development.
- Implementing 5 livelihood models in 2 communes (Muong Long and My Ly) of Ky Son district, which include: handing over land and forest to local households; raising cows and black chicken; cultivating Ky Son plum and peach trees for fruit and eco-tourism development; and implementing the revolving fund for livelihood development in Muong Long and My Ly communes.
- Stock-taking and sharing experiences and lessons from the models, making replication recommendations to the authorities and relevant agencies.
