Building the Resilience of the Balasuna Village Community in facing Covid 19 Pandemic through the management of Sustainable Natural Resources
GOAL
The realization of the independence of the Balasuna Village Community in managing Natural Resources in the Covid 19 Pandemic Era based on local wisdom.

ACTIVITIES
1. Preparation of program implementation
Achievement indicators:
a. Implementation of coordination and consultation with relevant stakeholders at the sub-district and village levels regarding program implementation plans rencana
b. Conducted workshops/socialization with Stakeholders in Kaledupa.

The activities carried out in preparation for the implementation of this program are:
a. Consultation and coordination with relevant stakeholders at the Kaledupa and MHA sub-district level stakeholders in the Limbo Tombuluha area (Balasuna village). This activity aims to coordinate the goals and flow of the program to be carried out with relevant stakeholders at the district level as well as to get support/cooperation from these stakeholders.
b. Consultation and coordination with the Balasuna village apparatus. This activity aims to coordinate the implementation of program activities as well as to build cooperation as partners in program implementation in target locations.
c. Workshop/Socialization with Stakeholders in Kaledupa. This activity aims to build a common understanding of the issues that exist in the community in accordance with the program's objectives to find the root of the problems being faced and how to solve these problems.

2. Development of environmentally friendly and sustainable replication of local agricultural practices
Achievement indicators:
a. There is 1 (one) assisted group that applies agriculture using organic fertilizer
b. There are 2 (two) hectares of land planted with 5 (five) types of local plants
c. There is quality control of harvests
d. There is 1 (one) unit of seed bank

To ensure the availability of local food as well as a form of defense for the Limbo Tombuluha indigenous people in the pandemic era for basic food needs, the thematic categories above need to be carried out. The forms of activities are as follows:
a. Identification of assisted farmer groups
b. The goal is to find out the target community groups that will be assisted during the program.
c. Institutional strengthening training
d. This training was conducted to increase the capacity and role of group members.
e. Environmentally friendly farming practices

This activity is carried out to increase capacity and provide assistance to the community in efforts to develop environmentally friendly agriculture. This is to provide new experiences on environmentally friendly agricultural techniques to the community, considering that so far the agricultural technique used by the Kaledupa community is a shifting agricultural system.
a. Training and manufacture of organic fertilizer
b. This activity is carried out to increase the community's capacity to make organic fertilizer and make compost as one of the main ingredients in the application of environmentally friendly agriculture
c. Procurement of a variety of local food seeds
d. This activity is carried out to provide various varieties of local food plant seeds that will be cultivated by the community.
e. Planting local food seeds

This activity aims to plant agricultural land of the assisted target group with local food crop seeds
a. Plant maintenance. This activity aims to maintain and ensure the growth of local food crops that have been developed by the target group using environmentally friendly agricultural methods.
b. Post-harvest handling control. This activity is carried out to ensure that the harvested local food crops are processed in the right way so that they can be stored as food reserves as well as the need for seeds for the next growing season.
c. Seed bank procurement. This activity aims to provide a special place as a location for storing local food plant seeds in accordance with local community agricultural standards
d. Sorting seeds/seedlings. This activity is carried out to classify local food plant seeds/seeds based on their types and storage techniques
e. Seed preservation. This activity aims to process local food plant seeds for seed reserves as well as a step for breeding local food plants.

3. Documentation of traditional medicine practices
Achievement indicators:
a. Availability of pocket books, leaflets and x banners about Kaledupa traditional medicines
b. There are 10 (ten) medicinal plant gardens scattered in Dasawisma
c. The implementation of 2 (two) trainings on the manufacture of traditional medicines
d. There is community knowledge about how to process traditional medicines
e. Traditional medicines have become an alternative to community treatment in addition to medical treatment

This activity aims to document the local wisdom of the community related to the management and utilization of traditional medicinal plants. This is also a form of defense for the Limbo Tombuluha indigenous people to prevent disease and increase the community's immunity with traditional materials, as well as an effort to document in writing the traditional treatment of the Limbo Tombuluha indigenous people.

This is also a form of transfer of knowledge about traditional Kaledupa medicine to the community, especially the younger generation. In this activity, Forkani partnered with PKK in Balasuna and South Balasuna villages. Some of the activities undertaken to achieve this are:
? Making books and x banners
? Identification of local medicinal plant species
? Source identification
? Interview with sources
? Drug application practice
? Traditional medicinal plant breeding
? Identification of traditional medicinal plants that can be sold and cannot be sold. There are several types of processed local medicinal plants that can be marketed outside the island of Kaledupa, such as bone fracture powder.
Expected results
1. The growth of a new culture for the Balasuna village community in dealing with the covid 19 pandemic by using traditional medicinal plants
2. The establishment of a community food security system through environmentally friendly agricultural management
3. The spread of public knowledge about the application of traditional medicines.
