The project promoted the use of ?Rainwater Harvesting Wells? as an alternative source of water at the household level. Thirteen harvesting wells were built with twenty-five cubic meter capacity for a number of local community?s members. The project also included raising the local community awareness of rainwater harvesting wells their positive impacts on the environment, besides the optimum ways of rationalizing water consumption.
