Four capacity building activities will be promoted: 1. Territorial Management Workshops ? contents proposed: legislation on traditional communities, territories and approaches to territorial self-management. 2. Local Organization Workshops ? proposed contents: peasant identity, principles of local organization, associativism, cooperativism, peasant forms of organization, revolving funds. 3. Workshop with Women - proposed contents: female identity, gender, principle of women's rights, feminism, organization of women in the countryside. 4. Workshop with Young People ? content proposed by the generation, perspectives for rural youth, rural succession, work with parents.

The actions of the project will be supported in the Seventh SGP Operational Phase within the selected landscape of Western Bahia.

The main policy impact foreseen is the regularization of the tradtional territories.

The mais strategy is to increase the communitication among communities in the production of a Booklet that will be wodely disseminated about Social Cartography of communities' territories.

The project will be focusing on territory protection and sustentability as a basis fot livelihood mantenance and reproduction. There will be no wxplicit focus on production.

They are important stakeholders of the project because they are the future of the communities. A Workshop will be promoted speciali for the youth discussing perspectives for rural youth and rural succession.
