GOAL (VISION/GENERAL OBJECTIVE)
Developing the northern part of Semau Island as a coastal ecotourism route
objectives (SPECIAL PROJECT OBJECTIVES)
Objective 1:
Conservation of coastal tourist destinations
Indicators:
1. There are fisherman actors who continue to campaign for the maintenance of marine ecosystems through responsible fishing patterns.
2. There is an agreement between the fishermen of Uiasa Village regarding the prohibition of using fish bombs and catching protected marine animals.
Activity:
Raising awareness of fishing groups in Uiasa and its surroundings related to marine conservation through fisherman discussions, campaigns and awards
Objective 2:
Developing tour groups in northern cross villages, especially Uiasa and its surroundings
Indicators:
1. There is a plastic waste recycling business group that has the knowledge, skills and facilities for managing plastic waste. This group will continue to manage plastic waste in the future.
2. There is the Camp Uiasa group, which is the driving force for the empowerment of Uiasa ecotourism, both for the maintenance of the northern coast and sea of ??Semau, as well as for economic empowerment through Uiasa ecotourism. This group can help other groups that were formed later to be economically empowered to carry out supporting businesses for Uiasa ecotourism, such as handicrafts from plastic waste and local culinary businesses made from responsible marine catches.
Activity:
1. Improving the knowledge and skills of the general public regarding the management of plastic waste into usable goods, through training in the management of plastic waste.
2. Formulation of a group business model for the management and marketing of plastic waste.
