Project goal: creating an ecosystem to improve the social, economic and environmental living conditions of people with disabilities by facilitating their access to the right to work, professional development and environmental education, as well as reduction of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere through the energy reconstruction of an independent residence building for people with disabilities in the village of Luka, Stolin district
Project tasks:
1. Study, analysis and preparation of relevant information on existing problems and challenges in the field of employment and labor activity of disabled people;
2. Creation of a website to inform people with disabilities on employment, information about specialists who help in employment, other information: courses, seminars, trainings, online education, vacancies, etc.
3. Creation and functioning of a specialized bureau for the employment of persons with disabilities on the basis of the Stolin district public association «Center of support for young disabled people»
4. Creation of additional opportunities for environmental education of persons with disabilities;
5. Reducing CO2 emissions, creating new jobs and social adaptation of people with disabilities through the creation of a center for employment and independent residence for persons with disabilities in the Stolin district of the Brest oblast:
a. reconstruction of the building's power supply system by replacing lamps with energy-saving ones;
b. thermal insulation of the building;
v. introduction of alternative heat sources by installing a heat boiler on pallets;
d. installation of bio-sewerage;
Results:
1. Creation and sustainable operation of innovative electronic services that promote employment, professional development and environmental education of various categories of persons with disabilities.
2. Creation and sustainable functioning of a specialized office for the employment of persons with disabilities.
3. Creation of an ecosystem to improve the social, economic and environmental living conditions of people with disabilities.
4. Social adaptation of people with disabilities through their employment.
5. Raising awareness of people with disabilities on the most pressing environmental problems and ways to solve them.
6. Reducing CO2 emissions, social adaptation and job creation for people with disabilities at the local level in Luka village, Stolin district.
