The use of trees and shrubs for heating the residential sector of the urban settlement Krasnopolye
Project goal: Increasing the level of use of renewable local fuel and energy resources for heating the residential sector of the city of town Krasnopolye

Project tasks:
? Purchase of a wood shredder.
? Reconstruction and commissioning of a wood chip boiler house for heating the residential sector and village infrastructure
? Development and implementation of information and educational programs for the population on the use of local fuel and energy resources.

Results:
1. the local boiler house was switched to the consumption of wood chips;
2. 30% of wood chips for the boiler house are produced in the district;
3. the conditions for land use of 50 hectares of land overgrown with trees and shrubs are improved;
4. new equipment of the boiler house allows to increase the use of local renewable resources (wood chips) in the amount of 610 tons of standard fuel per year;
5. 500 people in the district are informed about energy efficient technologies that can and should be used in everyday life and small-scale production.
