Pilot project to create an integrated environmental education system for local communities
Project goal: creation and functioning in the project region of a sustainable model of environmental education for local communities with the aim of its subsequent scaling in the regions of Belarus.
Project tasks:
Creation of a complex of demonstration facilities for environmental education of local residents and tourists in the project area.
Creation and maintenance of sustainable functioning of a pilot model of environmental education of local communities.
Informing and increasing the level of environmental awareness of the local community on topical issues of environmental protection.
Results:
Creation of a complex of demonstration facilities for environmental education of local residents and tourists in the project area. Conservation and sustainable development of ecosystems of the Kleva River.
A pilot model of environmental education of local communities was introduced and is functioning steadily.
The level of awareness of the local community on topical issues of environmental protection was raised.
