Bitaáma Conservation of Biodiversity
The project is purposely to improve and strengthen conservation of biodiversity, sustainability of management of forests and reduce land erosion, and reduce adverse effects of climate change- add more red coupon in the atmosphere.

Objective

1. Fertile and healthy land for cultivation to grow food.

2. The land, forest, fresh water and coastal reefs regain its cultural value for subsistence living and commercialization.

3. Clean environment, clean food, clean water is the basis of regaining our cultural value and heritage.

4. Encourage economic development- Tourism, Agriculture, Business, Fisheries, and transportation etc.

Project Component

1. Elect or appoint community committees to oversee the management of the project in their respective communities.
2. Organize workshops and trainings for community leaders, church leaders, chiefs, tribal and landowners, women group leaders, youth leaders, and leaders of other organization partners.
3. Recruit project officer to be responsible for regular visits to the project sites.
4. Outsource activities to possible and reliable local partners in the communities? concern.
5. Identify possible partners and the implementation kick starts.
6. Monthly visits and reporting on project progress.

Expected Outputs

? Change mindsets of community dwellers towards over utilization of forest, land resources and sea resources

? To change rural community dwellers? attitudes and behaviors and understand the importance of conservation of biological diversity, and other natural resources.

? Further develop some of the protected areas to a traditional park
