Capacity Building support for less privilege people (women, youth, and disable), through skill training and education for Economic empowerment. A failure in leadership, governance and management over the past decades, especially during the civil war created gross poverty and unemployment among women, youths and disable both in urban and rural communities. There has been little consideration of women, youth and people with disabilities in addressing economic growth and poverty reduction. They are seen engaged mainly in subsistence Farming that is yet to change their lives following years of involvement. Part of the reasons assessed was limited capacity (in finance and education/skills) of disadvantaged groups. Assessment conducted by NAFEED in 2021 find out that many women, youth and disabled people find it impossible to overcome poverty, even with much efforts. NAFEED project seeks to assist these women, youths and disable and other vulnerable Liberians to improve their livelihood by building their capacity in vocational trainings opportunities like weaving, business management, computer literacy, etc. and enhancement of local opportunities for inclusive development.

The marginalized groups including women, children/youth and people with disabilities to participate in growth process is likely to be longer sustained than growth dependent on market conditions. The poor women and youth make up a substantial proportion of the workforce and if they are more able to participate in and contribute to the growth process, economic growth will be faster and more equitable8. It is crucial to focus development on an inclusive growth. This will address the issues of revenue systems and attempt to reduce equitable growth. They will be empowered to constructively participate in development and improve their living conditions. This project will build the capacities of beneficiaries in skill trainings, awareness raising on the effect of biodiversity degradation on the environment and the provision of sustainable livelihood supports to one hundred and twenty (120) persons that are mainly women, youths and disabled in six communities in Kolahun District.
