a project, being Innovative Plastic Waste Management in Rural Community. The aim of this project is to develop and implement plastic waste monitoring and collection system through an innovative and effective waste tracking through value added addition at plastic waste collection sites. This will be achieved through extensive awareness raising at all levels in the Liberian society. However, this project will among many things sensitize, popularize and push the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) concept in Liberia.

EGRI will incorporate an integrated solid waste management approach that will guarantee a waste- free society whilst enhancing job creation and skills transfer, mitigate the effects of poor solid waste on climate change, information sharing on acceptable waste practices and other knowledge- based tools that will be used to obtain desired behavioral changes in the society.

The project has multiple change impact on the waste management sector; including the provision of competitive low-cost products for the local markets across the country.
