COVID-19 Messaging Quality & Consistency
COVID-19 Messaging Quality & Consistency
The local community supporting community conservation areas within remote communities are often not well reached with information on the Covid 19 pandemic. Although Vanuatu is yet in semi locked down while it is allowing repatriation of citizens from nearby countries, and with the increasing cases in nearby countries in Fiji, Australia and New Zealand, the population remain at higher risk. The project is to provide training for local community trainers in particular those based in the local communities to become educators for the local indigenous communities working with community conservation to ensure their safety is practiced in the time of pandemic to restrict cases of community transmission.
