Support to expedition ship and yacht destinations to prepare for return of visits post COVID
Support to expedition ship and yacht destinations to prepare for return of visits post COVID
A number of rural and remote Vanuatu villages have welcomed in the past Expedition ships and yacht visitors. Currently these are all on hold pending borders reopening.
As a consequence of renewed interest in promoting local and agri tourism these locations become a focal point for promoting the unique and cultural heritage of Vanuatu. The project is research to determine the impact of COVID 19 on local ecotourism and determine opportunity for recovery on the local economy in terms of biodiversity and culture.
