Determination of the Effectiveness of a new Bio-Fertilizer
This Planning Grant will help to determine in a scientific manner the effectiveness of a new organic stimulant based on local plants for the growth of different crops in Saint Lucia. One of the partners in the project has been experimenting with a unique combination of local herbs, which has proven to be very efficacious for the growth of crops (based on the testimonials from various farmers). This project will determine the chemical composition and ascertain whether GEF SGP UNDP should continue to partner with the group in developing a small production factory for local production and use, and for exports.
