LAMACCA Territorial Mapping and demarcation for self isolation and conservation in South Malekula
LAMACCA Territorial Mapping and demarcation for self isolation and conservation in South Malekula
A lot mor villages situated in the castal areas for access to coastal fisheries for subistence livelihoods. Where the project is concern, there is a great loses and damages of trees, plants, natural and marine resources, mangroves and coral reefs due to development activities, over-harvest by local residents and the carbonization through the effect of climate change. While the carbonization is quietly difficult to address, the development activities and over-harvest by locals due to over populated and Covid-19 pandemic can be managed. The LAMACCA propose this project to address these issues by providing community knowledge and awareness on climate change impact and community resilience within a covid pandemic, and to protect, defense and preserve these natural and marine resources
