Gender Focus
The project initial consltation with the community to ensure Management Committees of CCA?s always have a fair representation of women. In most CCA?s and Financing Programs run by LLV with communities, usually woman are administrators, bank signatories and members of governance committees. At least 3 women are represented within the Local Management Committees of targeted CCA?s including a chair for people with disabilities. Also, woman have taken up roles as Tour Guides, bungalow hosting, chefs and most importantly as farmers planning their family farm gardens for household and market opportunities.
