The purpose of the orientation workshop is to introduce the GEF/SGP programme create awareness and understanding of the programme amongst stakeholders/partners, enhance the capacity of CBOs/NGO?s to design and implement GEF/SGP eligible projects and develop performance indicators.

The activities to be carried out under the project to develop introductory material on GEF/SGP in English and Urdu for the stakeholders/partners namely NGO?s/CBO?s to enable them become effective partners in successful implementation of the GEF/SGP in Pakistan. To organize the national workshop on September 24 & 25, to prepare a press release on the workshop and prepare a report on the workshop proceedings.

The main participants are Donors, Government Agencies, related to environment sector, some NGOs and CBO?s.
