'Net Zero Literacy: Digital Content Development and Research Project' is a publication/production project that aims to bring about individual behavior change and maximize the benefits of digital content that contribute to the process and ensure the sustainability of the goals set for Turkey, which signed the Paris Climate Agreement and determined its carbon emission targets. In order to achieve the net zero targets, it is necessary to raise awareness in this area and convert this awareness into behavioral change. In terms of measurable target content and the ability to observe the impact of the content on the defined target group, the project has a unique value. The project, for which Ankara was selected as a pilot region, consists of 3 phases.

In the first phase, a strategy for communication and digital content production is going to be developed by measuring the knowledge of the target groups regarding Net Zero. Based on the data collected through the research supported with in-depth interviews, the content structure will be created, and the production process will begin. In the second phase of the project, the digital content, platform, and website will be created. The process, which will be carried out by experts, academics and representatives of non-governmental organizations working on Net Zero, as well as 10 selected students from Ostim College of Technology, Digital Media, and Marketing Department, will be supervised by Electric Production Company (EUAS) and Turkish Electricity Industry Association (TESAB). Content such as podcasts, videos and infographics will be created for the digital platform. The aim is to be sustainable with digital products. In the final phase, the 'Creativity Camp for Net Zero Literacy' will be organized and the best ideas of the future that come together on site will be put into action as social media campaigns with great teamwork.

It is thought that the outcomes of the project will be a guide for the institutions/organizations to conduct research on climate change, carbon emissions, green deal, and digital campaigns for various segments of the society.
