Safe Food Access for Kids Workshop
Considering the possible consequences of the economic crisis that deepened with the pandemic, the project focuses on the problem of access to food, which is thought to be one of the areas where the effects will be visible, as the venue; and the children as the target group. It will identify the problems that are and will be encountered in the access of children to food in the poor areas of Ankara, evaluate the studies on this issue and question how they can be strengthened and explore possible opportunities.
The main purpose of the project is to bring together relevant actors who can make original contributions to the subject and to organize a workshop where they can develop solutions and collaborate. For this purpose, desk studies, field visits and a search meeting will be held in preparation for the workshop. Along with the information and information networks that will emerge during the project, a report containing recommendations to policy makers and other key actors will be prepared and shared with the public. In this sense, the aim of the project, which is to create solidarity mechanisms by using Ankara's own internal resources, coincides with the GEF SGP?s priorities.
