It is known that the main part of the income of the inhabitants of the country was associated with labor migration of the population to other countries. As a result of quarantine measures related to COVID-19, many families have not received remittances from migrants for more than one year and do not have sufficient funds to purchase food and medicine. And there are not enough suitable workers in the region. A researches in the city of Istaravshan identified 3888 persons with disabilities of the second and third groups, 2023 orphans, 7367 poor families. In these situations, these groups suffer most of all. More than 80 percent of our vulnerable people live in rural areas. Since more than 93 percent of the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan is mountains, access to land and water is limited. The main task for solving social problems is the organization of jobs or other types of self-employment. The current situation with COVID-19 proved that the vulnerable part of the population should be more protected and independent from situations and persons. To do this, by using local resources, it is necessary to create jobs, take measures to prevent and treat diseases, and improve the level of social life in families.
A project in order to improve the lives of vulnerable people and women, considers beekeeping training organizations. Mountainous terrain, mild climate from spring to autumn is consistent with the development of beekeeping. Therefore, the project plans to organize a training production laboratory "Beekeeper's School" and, as part of the project, conduct training for beneficiaries. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, a certain circle of informed people used and treated throat diseases with the healing drink sirko. Sirko drink has a very wide range of therapeutic and preventive properties. It has been used in folk medicine for over 2000 years. This drink can be made from berries, fruits and grapes growing in the region. By "embalming" the medicinal qualities and range of application of the drink will improve. Only a few people remained in the region who possessed the secrets of sirko production. It should be noted that "sirko" is "not vinegar." "Sirko" prevails in great demand among residents in Italy. The project conducts information events among the inhabitants of the region about medicinal properties and production opportunities, organizes training events to spread the production of a medicinal drink. Assists in the production of sirko and in the promotion of products released by improving the presentation in the packaging of non-woven bags. Organizes an exhibition tasting facility for training in the production of sirko and other medicinal drinks and dishes. The project, together with partners, organizes a mass collection of medicinal plants in seasons. Establish a structure for the production of paper bags and non-woven materials for packaging and packaging of medicinal plants. In this way, the project demonstrates entrepreneurial direction to the local population for the rational use of local raw materials to generate additional income and the use of local medicinal resources for the treatment of diseases and ailments.
