Understanding the importance of supporting farmers, especially young farmers in innovative start-ups, digital transformation, participation in the OCOP program, and proactively meeting qualifications in the process of international integration, in June, 2020, the VNFU has issued a project to support farmers in the implementation of innovative start-ups. Nevertheless, the challenge with this project is the lack of resources to implement the solutions. Therefore, there is a need for support from organizations and individuals, particularly the international organizations, such as UNDP/GEF SGP.
The approved project will be implemented in 10 provinces and cities, representing various regions; thereby, creating a significant shift in terms of awareness, change in critical thinking, and spreading passion in innovative start-ups; a majority of officials and members in the agricultural sector nationwide actively participate in digital transformation in agriculture.
