Establishing Model Vegetable Garden for improved Technology Transfer, income and Livelihood (TIME)
The project plans to establish a model vegetable garden to Improve food security, nutrition, economic opportunities and resilience of smallholder women farmers to climate change in Wallan Village. The village located within Baobolong protected area were exposed to some environmental challenges such as high salt intrusion, deforestation and loss of fodder for livestock that affect their livelihood. This project will enable especially women learn and adopt vegetable production to improve their livelihood and adopt other environmental management practices being promoted by Parks and Wildlife Department and other departments within Baobolong area.

The objectives are:

? Establish a model vegetable that will be used to learn best practice vegetable production linked to the market;
? Increased horticultural productivity and its value chain, while enhancing food security, nutrition and climate resilience of smallholder farmers;
