? The Ukrainian CSOs delegation participated in the Ninth Environment for Europe Ministerial
Conference in Nicosia, Cyprus on 5-7th of October 2022, as well as presented specialized exhibition
about education in Ukraine in the wartimes.
? Project experts were speakers in the Special Session of the Steering Committee on the ESD during
the Ninth Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference in Nicosia and in the 3 side-events of the
conference.
? Project experts prepared an article about the best GEF SGP practices in youth engagement in
climate actions and ESD that were included to the regional UNECE publication ?Engaging Young
People in the Implementation of ESD in the UNECE Region?: https://unece.org/environment-
policy/publications/engaging-young-people-implementation-esd-unece-region-good.
? Proposals from the CSOs and research representatives of Ukraine were included to the Nicosia
Declaration of Ministers on Education and Environment.
? A number of important partnerships have been established with governmental delegations and
representatives, as well as with Global Education network of Europe and others.
? Irpin community early recovery activities, including GEF SGP projects, were presented within
REBUILD UKRAINE 2023 Community Marathon in Warsaw, Poland on 14-16 th of February 2023.
? Project experts participated in the workshop-forum "Reconstruction in action" and discussion panels
on state and international programs for the reconstruction.
? 46 articles, news and publications are posted on websites www.sgpinfo.org.ua, www.zelena.org.ua,
www.ecoosvita.org.ua, web-sites of organizations-partners of the project, Facebook pages etc.
? 29 new partnerships were established with international organizations, state bodies and local
authorities, scientific institutions, business structures working in the field of environmental protection.
