Conducting training-presentation and educational campaigns for community representatives (including youth) on issues of early recovery, sustainable development, and security of the community.
It is planned that the project results will contribute to local development and green recovery strategy of the Educational Department of Irpin. Furthermore, the lessons learned and experience of energy efficient measure and energy security in the community will be replicated to at least 5 schools in Irpin community.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The Center for Sustainable Development of the Community was actively involved in the project, which was established with the support of the GEF SGP in the Irpin community, disseminating knowledge and best practice in the field of sustainable development, biodiversity protection , energy efficiency, nature-based solutions, green recovery, etc. Thus, the Center provides comprehensive advisory assistance regarding project activity, participates in the informational and educational campaign and contributes to the implementation of the project and the dissemination of knowledge and experience. Within the framework of the project, educational work was started, in particular, the project team contributed to the Ecocamp for children of the Irpin community, which took place at the school in the village of Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka from August 1 - 10. In addition, an event was organized on the territory of Zalizny town on August 8, to support leisure and residents through eco- and art therapy. The work on the creation of the online course "Resistance and security of communities in conditions of war" has been completed, the course is posted on the online platform ecoacademy.org.ua and is freely available to all interested parties. The course consists of 5 topics.
Project sustainability
The bomb shelter at Secondary school No.12 in Irpin city in Kyiv region was renovated and equipped.
The school serves for 2580 pupil and over 140 teachers and technical staff.
Inovative Financial Mechanisms
The dissemination of information occurs through the activities of the Center, popularization of the newly created course, public events, dissemination of information in the mass media. Information about the results of project implementation will be disseminated in the mass media, including on the websites of the Partner Network and its participants (minimum of 5 sites). The local Irpin television channel will be a powerful source of information dissemination. As part of the project, it is planned to create and place in free access the online course "Resilience and security of communities in conditions of war", which will be available for completion on an ongoing basis for all interested parties.

Notable Community Participation
The youth will participate in scientific and educational activities within the framework of the project, namely, they will participate in the training on safe behavior in various extreme situations (during bombings, etc.).
Also, the main users of the bomb shelter will be students, because the preservation of their lives and safety is the main goal of the project.
Gender Focus
Within the framework of the project, special attention is paid to the issues of gender equality and its practical application, in particular, the equal participation of women in the implementation of project components alongside men will be supported. Special attention will be paid to gender issues in the newly created course on the principles of authorization and support of a safe in all senses (ecological, social) community. One of the project results will be active participation of the Center for Sustainable Development of the Community in the support of educational institution that suffered from the war with Russia, taking into account the principles of energy independence and energy efficiency, which will provide equal benefits to both men and women. It should be noted that within the framework of educational activities, the project will primarily unite teachers, among whom 80% are women, which will allow strengthening their leadership positions in educational institutions, youth cohesion, the creation of women's self-help and support groups, volunteering, as well as sharing this experience with other communities.

International Urban Forum on the Renewal of Ukrainian Cities, International Conference on the
dissemination of the results of the Erasmus+ project "CLIMAN"
? The training"Education for sustainable development: interactive exercises and games for the
promotion of ESD in the school environment"; was held for 28 children.
? The "Environmentally Safe Marathon" training was held for 97 children of the Irpin Academic Lyceum
"Mriya"
? The project team participated in the organization of the Ecocamp for the children of the Irpin
community.
? An Ecopicnic was organized for 60 people who were left without housing and currently live in the Iron
Town of Ukrzaliznytsia.
