25 hectares of land, including mangrove land, have been reclaimed for climate-smart agroecology, as well as for rice cultivation during the rainy season. From these actions, the communities could have a production that went from less than 1000 tons to 4,642 tons of 6 biodiversity products (Cassava, Okra, Tomato, Cabbage, carrots, and chilli) and approximately 100 tons of rice. Which represents a yield of approximately USD 15180 per harvest. As well as with regard to rice a gain of 73580 USD. Before the intervention of the project, yields did not even reach 30% of the values mentioned above. On the other hand, the population had access to drinking water, which allowed for more resilience and communities free of waterborne diseases and consequently diarrhea, etc. and reinforcement of technical capacity, as well as the involvement of technicians from the regional agriculture directorate, made the project reach this milestone. The population directly benefiting from these actions is 2900 (1700 women and 1200 men), in the villages of Ondame, Quita, Blimbkim and Sidja.
