This project will test in small or medium-sized greenhouse an application on the ANDROID platform that will be able to provide real time reading for a series of critical greenhouse environmental parameters from low-cost sensors. This information is necessary for both the normal functioning of the greenhouse as well as in crisis situations when the farmer's intervention is required to be fast, such as night frosts. The application is modular, giving the possibility of adding sensors and storing the historic data with the aim of optimizing the functioning of the greenhouse. This project will test a prototype of this program that has been built under laboratory conditions and will gather input from farmers if they find this product useful. At the same time, it will gather necessary information regarding the possibility of building a business model focused on this product in the future.
