The objective of this project is to introduce a system of vertical farming in the Plaisance community which will contribute to enhancing local food security, reduce the use of chemicals and fertilisers which endanger marine life and biodiversity and further, utilize solid waste materials which oftentimes are dumped by the locals in the waterways, contributing to flooding.
