The Solarisation of the Anse La Raye Fishers Complex to reduce its carbon footprint and reduce its cost of operations.
This Planning Grant (PG) will assist the grantee in conducting an energy audit and a financial analysis to determine the benefit/cost of using solar energy at its fishing processing and sales plant. When proven feasible, it is expected that the grantee will undertake the design of a fully solarized system as well as determine the cost of procurement and installation. The results of this phase of the project cycle, will enable the grantee to design a fund raising strategy for the capital intensive phase.
