Mushroom Production in a Regenerative Agriculture System in Babonneau and Laborie, Saint Lucia.
This PG will assist the grantee in establishing the first national mushroom organisation to undertake research into the different species of mushrooms and substrates, which can be used to grow mushrooms. By the end of this phase of the project cycle, we are expecting the identification of two plots of land with the requisite baseline studies completed for the establishment of two demonstration plots as well as clear guidelines and strategies on how to maximize the production of mushrooms in Saint Lucia in a sustainable manner.
