Byblos Ecologia aims to make Mejdel a model village on climate change sustainability through the installation of a renewable energy (RE) system that would provide the municipality of Mejdel, women agricultural cooperative, and Darb El Jouz NGO with the necessary electricity to conduct their activities, cooperative?s work, refrigeration, and for agricultural products collected. Byblos Ecologia will also build the capacity of local community on climate change, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable development.
